Lee Friedland, Esq

Advisory Board

Lee is a member of the Florida Bar, Southern and Middle District of Florida, and United Stated Federal Court of Claims.  Lee is married and has six children all of whom bring a particular joy to his life. Most importantly, Lee is reinvigorated with his love of the practice of law which expresses itself in his work every day.

Cristiane Salgado

Founder

Cristiane is a mother of two children, an artist, a former home appraiser and architect in her native country-Brazil . For a long time, she chose to take care of her son full-time after he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy.  Cristiane  works at the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation. She is an avid advocate for causes that concern individuals with special needs.

Mikayela Mikulinsky

Secretary-Treasurer

Mikayela is a physical therapist who earned her degree from FIU in 1997. She is married and a mother to three daughters. In her practice she acquired knowledge in adaptive equipment and her specialty is pediatric neurological impairments. For this reason, she seeks to help families to obtain appropriate services and resources.

Jessica Jones

Director

Jessica is a dedicated Speech- Language Pathologist assistant with a background in psychology and sociology from FAU. Inspired by her family's experience with autism, she pursued her career in communication sciences to help individuals find their voices. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and beloved pets, combining her love for family and community service.

 Norina Ocampo, MD

Director

Norina Ocampo, is a board certified pediatrician. She graduated from Georgetown University School of Medicine, and has been practicing general pediatrics for eighteen years. She works closely with children who have special needs. Her passion to serve these children motivated her to become part of the Kid’s Needs Foundation cause.

Douglas Vogel

Director

​Douglas Vogel is a Financial Services Executive with Mass Mutual and a Registered representative with MML Investors Services LLC. He is also a Special Needs care planner dedicated to helping families plan for their children or other dependents with special needs.

 

 
Crystal Alves

Director

Crystal has graduated from FAU in 2015 with Bachelor’s in Business Marketing. She emphasizes her work in the entertainment & fashion industry in Miami. She began her career in at Wilhelmina Models ,one of most prestigious agencies in the world. She is now at Freedom Models and is also the founder of Solis Agency, her own boutique mother agency providing career management for models. She is an avid advocate for people with disabilities and she is Alex’s sister.
